Guinea-Bissau Campaign

On March 23, 2024, the APNC - Associação Pedras No Caminho, ONGD, returns to Guinea-Bissau with hearts full of hope and determination. Following the completion of a significant humanitarian mission at the end of February 2024, our team is preparing for a new chapter in this land full of challenges but also immense possibilities. This marks the beginning of a new phase of direct intervention and ongoing support for the local communities.

This return serves a dual purpose: the official inauguration of APNC's delegation on Guinean territory with our own facilities, which will enable us to establish a more robust and active presence. Additionally, we plan to acquire vehicles that will facilitate the transport of teams and materials, essential for extending our work into the most remote regions.

Responding to the urgent appeal from doctors at the Central Hospital Simão Mendes, we commit to providing surgical drills for orthopedic interventions, a scarce resource that significantly limits the ability to respond to medical emergencies. Our involvement will not be limited to this specific support; we will also bring other essential hospital materials, contributing to improving the conditions of care and treatment in the country's main medical facility.

Beyond these initiatives, APNC plans to extend its humanitarian action to various tabankas, where the need for support is pressing. Our presence aims to offer not only material and medical assistance but also hope and solidarity to communities striving daily for a better future.

Through this new stage, we reaffirm our commitment to Guinea-Bissau, working side by side with the communities to create opportunities for sustainable development, health, and well-being. Together, we will continue to forge paths of solidarity, building a legacy of support and love for our fellow human beings.
