Humanitarian aid action this year in Africa - Guinea-Bissau.
This country is one of the poorest in the world and faces several humanitarian challenges, including hunger, poverty, and diseases. These issues have generated an urgent need for humanitarian intervention, aiming to alleviate the suffering of people, especially women and children.
Intervention in Guinea-Bissau is vital, as many of its inhabitants live in precarious conditions without access to food, water, medicines, and other basic services. Hunger and the lack of medical care are primary causes of death, primarily affecting children and women. Our association can play a pivotal role in providing medicines, food aid, school materials, access to potable water, and electricity, among other needs.
The future intervention will focus on the Bijagós Archipelago, covering islands such as Bubaque, Canhabaque, Orango, and Bolama, among others.
This action will also extend to the mainland. The estimated duration of the humanitarian action may vary based on several factors.
